Georgetown Tidal Tales has announced the theme for its third and final show in 2026, scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 6:30-8:30 PM at Winyah Auditorium, 1200 Highmarket Street in downtown Georgetown. All proceeds from our October Show (over production costs) will be donated to ALL4PAWS Animal Rescue, which provides compassionate dog and cat rescue, medical and behavioral wellness, and placement into loving homes.
We want to hear your TRUE stories about your paranormal experiences, your ghost sightings, your childhood (or adulthood!) scares, your most memorable or exciting Halloween! Your story must be true and you must be able to tell it in 5 minutes with no notes in front of a supportive Georgetown audience!
Did you make your own weird costume?
Did you have an interesting experience trick-or-treating?
Does your family have an unusual Halloween tradition?
What was the most frightening thing that happened to you on Halloween?
Can you share something surprising about Halloween in Georgetown?
What did you cook up on Halloween that scared your family?
Have you connected with a relative who passed?
The point is, EVERYONE has a story–simply submit your pitch online on our home page, or click here. The Tidal Tales Producer will contact you if your story is selected for the show. Next, you will attend a “Zoom” workshop with the other storytellers, where you will tell your story and receive valuable feedback. And then it’s on to the show!
If you are not chosen this time, please don’t be discouraged. You can submit again with a different true story, or pick a future show and submit!

February 27, 2027: “SPEAKERS CHOICE” –Folks at Plantersville Elementary told us they’d like to tell any story they want to tell! So submit your favorite true story, and we’ll pick a variety sure to entertain. After-costs proceeds from this show will be donated to THE HISTORIC WINYAH AUDITORIUM, treasured home of Tidal Tales and so many other worthy programs throughout Georgetown County!
